A Place Only In Dreams

Image that the poem was based on:

A place only in dreams

It's ethereal

The mystical hues of gray and purple

The most divine you've ever seen

Am I the only one who knows where you are?

In the twilight

Galaxies swirling and stars shimmering

Right in front of your face

How did you get so beautiful?

It's dark

But strangely comforting, calming

The stars being the only thing guiding your way

The stars illuminating the flowers

Just enough so you can see the beautiful amalgamation of colors

Colors that would have been lost

If it wasn't for those stars

A place only in dreams

The soft rumble of wind

Blowing through the grass

Your footsteps as they walk through the flowers

Off in the distance

A faint bird calls its mate

Cicadas and crickets chirping about

Strangely you can't hear your breath

For it has been lost

By the beauty of this field

A place only in dreams
